An Aidrie Alberta boutique is launching a new project to show that regardless of physical ability ,pleasure can be uninhibited and unimpaired.
Unimpaired Pleasure, a book that is being developed by The Love Muffin Adult Boutique founder Kray Mitchell, will be an inspirational compilation of stories and photos showcasing a multitude of disabled people who have embraced their sexuality.
An Edmonton couple recently proved that intimacy and a healthy sexuality don’t need to be limited due to physical disability. Brittney Dodds, who is paralyzed from the chest down after a snowmobile accident when she was 13 years old, welcomed the birth of her son in October 2009.
Dodds, along with approximately 100 other patients a year, received counselling and advice from the Sexual Health Service program at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital.
