Canadian Polyamory group granted court status

Tuesday, February 16, 2010, the BC Supreme Court awarded The Canadian Polyamory Advocacy Association (CPAA) intervener status, meaning the court will hear the CPAA's evidence and arguments , which challenges constitutionality of Canada's "anti-polygamy" law.

B.C.'s attorney general, Michael de Jong, launched the constitutional reference case after polygamy charges were dropped last October against the two leaders of a polygamous sect in the community of
