Bare Oaks is a year-round park with traditional naturist values. It is a place where the entire naturist family can experience naturism. Their varied modern facilities are set among the natural wilderness of the Greenbelt and Oak Ridges Moraine. Bare Oaks offers day-use memberships and seasonal campsites but also welcomes visitors and travelers.

The purpose of naturism is to promote wholesomeness and stability of the human body, mind, and spirit. These come most easily to those who shed the psychological and social encumbrance of clothing, to see and respect the human body as created.

A healthy sexuality is an important part of a relationship. Naturism can help people develop a better sexuality by increasing their self-confidence and putting them at ease with their own body.

What consenting adults do in private is no one else’s business. True naturists understand that, while they have a healthy sexual life, naturism in itself is not about sexuality. Sometimes, an individual may visit Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park because they have been misled about the sexual nature of naturism. In order to make things clear to those rare individuals, to maintain a true naturist environment, and to protect our reputation as a true naturist destination, visitors must agree that they:

1. will not partake in any overt sexual behavior,
2. will not try to recruit or invite anyone for a sexual activity, and
3. will not promote – either internally or externally – any sexual activities at Bare Oaks.
4. will let management know immediately if they witness or experience any of the above.

Inappropriate behaviour will result in expulsion and, if appropriate, criminal prosecution. An indecent act is as illegal at Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park under Section 173 of the Criminal Code of Canada as anywhere else.
