I'm a Burner, a writer, a creator and a sex positive activist
I have over 10 years experience working in sex industries and recently has turned to studying and writing about the psychology and philosophy of sexuality. I'm passionate about BDSM theory, the benefits of chronic masturbation and the moral obligation for comprehensive sex education that promotes a culture of sex positivity for youth. Always deeply into a kink lifestyle, I am forever looking for new and interesting ways to explore my boundaries and edges. In my spare time I likes to play roller derby and vacation in the desert.

My favorite sin is Vanity and I'm a Sagittarius/Scorpio Cusp.

My turn ons include: Fire, whiskey, tattoos, building things and then blowing them up, metaphysics, extreme bondage, edge play and Roller Derby

My Turn off include: people who take themselves or me seriously, pussies and princesses, rainy days and witty endings to bios

"I am large; I contain multitudes" - Walt Whitman

" We live together, we act on, and react to, one another; but always and in all circumstances we are by ourselves. The martyrs go hand in hand into the arena; they are crucified alone. Embraced, the lovers desperately try to fuse their insulated ecstasies into a single self-transcendence; in vain. By it's very nature every embodied spirit is doomed to suffer and enjoy in solitude. Sensations, feelings, insights, fancies - all these are private and, except through symbols and at second hand, incommunicable. We can pool information about experiences, but never the experiences themselves. From family to nation, every human group is a society of island universes."
-Aldous Huxley - The Doors of Perception

For <your gender identity here> Only

I woke up this morning thinking about gender exclusive spaces and events, especially within the Burning Man community. TAZ (men's only) is this weekend and W.W.W. (women's only), just past a couple weekend ago.

There has always been something that bothered me about gender only spaces. They are far too binary. Would a trans man be welcome at TAZ? A trans women at W.W.W.? How trans? Post op? Pre op?
What about the gender queer? Those with more fluid gender identities that don't fit neatly or even messily into one of the two common gender identities.

What is love? Baby don't hurt me

I have been thinking a lot about love, romance and relationships lately. Not only has it been the focus of one the units in my social psychology class (that I had an exam in today) but also recent life events have led the subject to be at the for front of some of my more introspective thoughts.

I once had a collection of quotes on love and romance, my favorite came from Poppy Z. Brite. As I have lost my meaningfully underlined copy of Drawing Blood I am forced to parphrase but it went something like...

Love is trusting someone not someone not to hurt you even when you know they will.

Wanted: Some to Take me away from myself

One of the psychological traits that literary scholar Marianne Noble lists as associated with Masochism is "a particularly emphatic sense of individuated selfhood."

This morning there was an interpretation of that on a BDSM theory group I am a part of
